“BIBLIA @ OBRA” AT THE KANLUNGAN NG SINING, RIZAL PARK, MANILA Sixteen (16) students from the Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science & Technology (EARIST) College of Architecture & Fine Arts have mounted an exhibit titled, “Biblia@Obra”, at the Kanlungan ng Sining, Rizal Park, which started last March 15 until March 30, 2011. The exhibit is a joint project of the EARIST College of Architecture & Fine Arts, the Art Association of the Philippines (AAP) and the National Parks Development Committee (NPDC), under Executive Director Juliet H. Villegas. The participating student/artists are Socorro Fredeluces, Lito Almarez, McMiller Andes, Jacquiline Bernaldes, Rolando Chan, Rizaly Casuco, Ray-ann Durana, Michael Gamido, John Paul Laureano, Mark Anthony Paez, Jo-Lark Tacmo, Airene Talosig, Cernielito Tandayu, Jurmel Ternio, Mark Joseph Villocero and Joseph Canlas. They are all graduating students of EARIST and the said exhibit at the Kanlungan ng Sining is part of the fulfilment of their course for graduation. “We invite everyone to view our paintings, which are the showcase of our God-given talents. We believe that the Holy Bible is the manufacturers manual of God to His people. And through our paintings you will be able to feel how God touches the hearts of each one of us.” Kanlungan ng Sining at Rizal Park, Manila, is open daily, from Monday to Sunday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Entrance fee is P5.00.
